Better Bank Connection Management
Status monitoring, bulk actions, and visual improvements for managing your connected accounts
Managing bank connections shouldn't be a guessing game. You shouldn't have to wonder if your connection is still working, or manually check each account to see if something needs attention. And when you need to clean up duplicate connections or remove an entire bank, it shouldn't take clicking through dozens of accounts.
We've made bank connection management much better.
For Plaid users especially, we've added real-time connection status monitoring. When your bank connection needs attention—whether it needs re-authentication, is about to expire, or has new accounts available—you'll see a clear status banner right on the connected accounts page. No more discovering broken connections when you try to sync. The status tells you exactly what's wrong and gives you a button to fix it immediately.
We've also added bulk account management. If you need to remove all accounts from a specific bank—maybe you're cleaning up duplicates or switching providers—there's now a "Delete All Accounts" button for each institution. It shows you exactly what will be deleted (accounts and transactions) before you confirm, so you know what you're doing.
Plaid institution logos now display automatically, making it easier to visually identify your connected banks. And when you reconnect a Plaid connection, you can now choose which accounts to add—useful when new accounts become available or when you only want to connect specific accounts.
We've also improved the workflow: all sync and disconnect operations now keep you on the connected accounts management page, so you stay in context instead of being bounced around the app. And we fixed duplicate connection detection—the system now prevents you from accidentally connecting the same Plaid Item twice.
Bank connections that actually work, and management that doesn't get in your way.
